For many years now we have been over cladding our buildings with timber, brick and stone cladding to hide the steel outer walls and also fit steel roof tiles to our Apex roofs. We have trialled a green roof which sits on moisture resistant board to insulate it from our out steel roof structure.
The roof has been growing well and is now in its second summer without any root burn or drainage problems. Last year we notice the roof did have meadow grass competing the the sedum, but none so far this year and there has been no other weed problems.
We married the green roof with natural cedar cut in a shiplap pattern to give it a contemporary style which these days could happily sit on a city centre site as well as a more rural or suburban setting.

You'll love our full design and installation service.
We can provide a wide range of products made primarily of 3mm mild steel. Our modular system allows for a wide range of possibilities with regard to layout, size and finish.
